FAQs

Why isn’t my eSCORE holding a charge?

If your scoreboard no longer operates without being plugged in, the battery needs to be replaced. You can purchase replacement batteries from us, or find them on the internet (Amazon, Walmart, etc.) or at your local battery store.

For ST and X models, use a 12V 2.3AH lead acid battery.
For XL models, use two 6V 7AH batteries.

Follow these step-by-step instructions to replace the batteries.

Why isn’t my remote control working with my eSCORE?

If your remote isn’t communicating with your scoreboard, try these troubleshooting steps:

  1. Check the remote battery - Press any button on the remote and check the light indicator. If the indicator is bright red, the battery is good. If the indicator is faint or not lighting up, the battery may need to be replaced. The battery type is a CR123 3V lithium-ion battery
  2. Ensure remote is paired - Follow these step-by-step instructions to pair your remote with the scoreboard.
  3. If neither of these steps are unsuccessful, try again with another remote control. If the new remote control works, the old remote control needs to be replaced. If neither remote controls work, there could be damage to the scoreboard. Please contact us at info@insightsportsinc.com for assistance.

Why are some of my LEDs out or flickering?

If an individual LED or row(s) of LEDs flicker or do not light up, it is an indication that the LED display board is damaged. This is almost always due to sudden impact, e.g. ball hits scoreboard off a table, etc. PLEASE protect your eSCORE so it is not exposed to sudden impact. We do not repair damaged LED display boards– however, we often have new replacement LED display boards for purchase. Please contact us at info@insightsportsinc.com for more information on purchasing and replacing your LED display board.
